Modern, transparent and sustainable: this is the Paseo Imperial in the heart of the Spanish capital. The project development performed by METRO PROPERTIES comprises not only the new MAKRO headquarters for Spain and Portugal, but also the first Spanish City Store. The concept is aimed exclusively at Horeca customers, who are addressed with a more emotional approach and special services. The term "customer centricity" is given a new dimension here: just a stone's throw away from attractions such as the Puerta de Sol and the Prado, the Madrid market is at the tourist and cultural heart of the capital - as are countless cafes and restaurants in the metropolis. The extensive building work was completed in less than a year.
In the winter of 2012, the first Spanish MAKRO City Store celebrated its opening in Paseo Imperial. A few months later the headquarters moved to the completed office space.
